Since I was a child, I have loved to write. After becoming a mom, I have acquired a scary amount of books. My daughter, Zoe, can’t walk by a shelf of books and not ask for a new one. I began to want to write something for both my girls and, as I was writing, You Are Seen, I saw the little girl illustrated as my oldest baby. she gets excited about reading and learning. When she’s older, and sees herself in this book, I hope she’ll appreciate me as much as I do her. she has made me want to accomplish more.
